I’ve been warning you for some weeks now that we have been working on a complete and massive redesign for this website. You might have noticed small changes before today, in fact. But today, well, today is the day. The big reveal.

Like most major redesigns, of course, we’re still working out the bugs. We’ve still got a lot of building to do, designing to complete, and, quite frankly, a few issues to fix.

But we’re going live with it now because at some point, you just have to flip the switch. And to be honest, we expect some things to need tweaking that we don’t yet know about, but we know you’ll find. Those of you who read this blog regularly know that I highly value reader input. This website is no exception. Other things, we’ll be tweaking even as you find them, so they might be fixed by the time that comment posts or email gets mailed. But send it anyway. We really do want to hear from you.

That said, I need to take a moment to acknowledge the massive undertaking this website redesign has been and the extraordinary feats performed by our staff to accomplish as much as we have. They all played a role in this redesign, but two people need huge, huge kudos here: Jerimy Colbert and Jane Kennedy.

Jerimy and Jane have lived and breathed this website for weeks now, helping conceptualize and execute the many, many commands coming from on high (that would be from me <g>.)

They are fantastic and have gone above and beyond to make this project happen. Start-ups like WMG (even those that are a couple of years in) require their employees to wear a lot of hats, and the staff here does that brilliantly.

I hope you enjoy the fruits of their continuing labor as we endeavor to launch new features and improve the user experience of this website.
